An aubergine sparkle velvet jumpsuit embellished with punched red rhinestones, zippers, and buckles. This quick-change jumpsuit with front zip and Velcro closures was designed by Bill Whitten for the Asian leg of Michael Jackson's 1987-1989 Bad World Tour. Whitten worked with Jackson to create the costumes worn for the opening leg of the Bad Tour in Japan and Australia. Jackson performed a total of 14 sold-out stadium shows in Tokyo, Nishinomiya, Yokohama, and Osaka, Japan. The jumpsuit is illustrated on page 110 of The King of Style by Michael Bush.
