A Sly Stone owned 1968 Gibson SG, serial number 947462, cherry finish, original electronics, trapezoid inlays, double cut-away, black pickguard and original guitar strap. The guitar was obtained through Vet Stone, aka "Little Sister," the real-life little sister of Sly Stone and the lead singer in the Family Stone backing group. Stone explained that this guitar was used in The Family Stone studio referred to as The Family Stone Big House. Sly Stone purchased the guitar in 1968 and composed with this guitar in the studio. Accompanied by a note from Vet Stone and a certificate of authenticity from Vet Stone. Categories:
