Pair of Imperial German Navy Lion's Head Sword Hilt Candlesticks. Two standard Imperial German naval sword hilts later converted to decorative military candlesticks with cast brass bases and candle holders The sword hilts likely converted from left over stocks of unissued swords, these missing wire wrapping accents on cream colored hilt (evidence of metal wire at top). Both lions retain their red stone set eyes. Height 10.5". Provenance: From a Private Collection in Warner Robbins, Georgia.
