A contract dated May 27, 1933, negotiating the release of player Justin McLaughlin from the Boston Red Sox to their minor league affiliate, the Reading Red Sox, of the Class A New York-Pennsylvania League. The contract is stamped as received by the Office of the Baseball Commissioner on May 31, 1933, and again June 27, 1933. Eddie Collins, general manager of the Boston Red Sox organization at the time, has signed the contract at the bottom left.
