A pair of books by Ray Bradbury, including The Golden Apples of the Sun (hardcover: 4th ptg- Rupert Hart Davis, London, 1962) signed "For Mr. & Mrs. Winters, with the admiration of Ray Bradbury, #1 Fan! April, 1965" with a typed letter on Bradbury's personal stationery, dated April 29, 1965, in which he states that he has finally finished the screenplay for The Martian Chronicles and would like Jonathan Winters to play all of the parts. Bradbury also suggests that Winters should attend Bradbury's new play The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit and that the two get together to chat "... about everything in the world." The other book, The Stories of Ray Bradbury (hardcover: 3rd ptg- Alfred A. Knopf, NY, 1981), is signed "For Jonathan, with the love & admiration of his greatest fan! May you live forever! Ray Bradbury, June 20, 1981." Also included is a first British edition, first printing, of Jones of Colorado (hardcover: Ebury Press, London, 1995), signed and inscribed "For Jonathan & Eileen, from Ralph Steadman, 27 Nov. 97."
