A hard bound copy of Glenn Clark's I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes (NY: Harper, 1937), inscribed "To Gayelord/ from "B"/ 12/1/40" (book inscribed to Gayelord Hauser from his partner, Faye Brown); together with a soft bound copy of Clark's The Man Who Tapped the Secrets of the Universe (St. Paul: Macalester Park, 1946). Hauser, who had a close relationship with Greta Garbo, became famous for his nutrition philosophy of natural foods and little or no meat.
