A navy blue shirt dress circa 1955. Garment appears to have been handmade for Greta Garbo. Long-sleeve dress with four covered button and zipper closure at front of dress. Two pockets high on the bodice of the dress and one pocket at side of skirt. Accompanied by a blue suede Ferragamo belt. Maker label has been cut out of the side seam of the dress. No size present. Appears in the book Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style edited by Stefania Ricci (Milan: Skira, 2010) and previously exhibited: Museo Salvatore Ferragamo, Greta Garbo: The Mystery of Style , February through September 2010.
