Signatures include then bench coach Red Schoendienst, manager Whitey Herzog, Ozzie Smith, Jack Clark, Vince Coleman, Terry Pendleton, Willie McGee, Jeff Lahti, Tom Lawless, Joaquín Andújar, Doug Bair (signed twice), Joe Boever, Ken Dayley, Tom Herr, Tito Landrum, Ricky Horton, Darrell Porter (inscribed "Romans 10:9"), Curt Ford, Pat Perry, Bob Forsch, Bill Campbell, Steve Braun, Danny Cox, Matt Keough, Mike Jorgensen, Pat Perry, and coaches Nick Leyva and Hal Lanier. The ball is accompanied by a candid color image of the obtainer of the signatures, Whalen Monica, on the field at Royals Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, during batting and fielding practice at the 1985 World Series, posing with Cardinals player Jack Clark.
