A lavender silk period gown worn by Jean Peters in Broken Lance (20th Century, 1954). The gown has a fitted bodice, draped sash to hips, slight bustle with bow, and decorative center front fabric-covered buttons with front zip closure. A bias label reads "1-27-8020 Jean Peters A723-09." The gown has been reworked in post production, including the fichu removed and a berry and foliage trim added. Costume design by Travilla.
