A heavily beaded scarlet cocktail dress owned by Elizabeth Taylor. The sheer silk sheath is embellished with seed beads that were sewn on by hand, layered over a silk charmeuse underdress. A sheer sash is draped at the waist with cascading panels that are finished with faux horse hair, and sheer draping is at the bust. Hand finishing details are present. No label or size present.
