A gold lamé caftan circa 1970 owned by Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor wore an identical caftan in her appearance with Richard Burton on Here's Lucy (Season 3, episode 1) titled "Meet the Burtons" (Lucille Ball Productions, 1970).The caftan has a brocade foliage pattern in shades of turquoise, lime green, and blue. The neckline and cuffs are embellished with silver and gold metallic trim and tassels detailed with sequins, faux crystals and faux pearls. No labels or size present. Accompanied by a matching belt. Taylor, in an identical caftan, appears on page 18 in the book Elizabeth Taylor : A Shining Legacy on Film by Cindy De La Hoz (Philadelphia: Running Press, 2012).
