Oil on canvas painting by Frank Sinatra. Signed "Sinatra '86" at lower right. Notations on the back of the canvas read "Frank Sinatra Rancho Mirage 1986" and "Star War." The abstract painting in blue and red with areas of blank canvas centers around an open circle. Sinatra may have been influenced by Cold War happenings of 1986, including funding cuts to President Ronald Reagan's SDI program, the meeting between Reagan and Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, as well as the Chernobyl disaster.
