A pair of black polyester uniform slacks worn by Mr. Spock, played by Leonard Nimoy, in Star Trek (Desilu Productions, 1966-1969). The material for the slacks is woven with nylon thread to give the impression of a shimmering futuristic material. The calf-length pants have the distinctive flared cuffs and are hand inscribed “Nimoy” in white pen on the interior. The pants were eventually cycled into background performer stock. Nimoy’s name is crossed out and the word “Stock” written along with the size and inventory inscription “P40 Size 31.” The pants also have attached Velcro patches for attaching the Phaser and Communicator.
