A jet black silk faille late 19th century costume worn by Jessica Tandy in The Valley of Decision (MGM, 1945). The ensemble comprises a quilted bodice jacket with velvet trim and decorative velvet-covered buttons, draped panels, box pleated cream organdy to collar, and an MGM label that reads "J.Tandy 1341 8663"; an underdress with exposed skirt with bustle and graduated hemline with two bias labels that read "1341 Jessica Tandy"; a quilted muff with satin lining; and a folding parasol in case.
