A Bruce Lee twice signed copy of Karate : The Art of the Empty Hand by Hidetaka Nishiyama and Richard C. Brown (Tokyo, Rutland: C.E. Tuttle Co., 1969) with Lee's hand drawn diagrams. The endpapers are marked in Lee's hand "Property of/ Bruce Lee" and additionally signed with the Chinese characters for Lee's name. Within the book Lee has drawn images of hand positions and images of faces instructing where and how to fight an opponent. The drawings appear on pages 48, 76, and 144.
