A cream silk charmeuse gown worn by Lee Grant in her Academy Award winning role in Shampoo (Columbia, 1975). The long-sleeve gown has a sailor collar solidly embellished with jet-like and opalescent bugle beads with cuffs, tie, and belt of solid jet-like bugle beads. Hand finishing work and a Western Costume label that reads "Lee Grant 1363- 1." The film was nominated for four Academy Awards. Costume design by Anthea Sylbert. Accompanied by two black and white studio images and the original lot tag.
