A Fender Stratocaster painted to resemble George Harrison’s guitar “Rocky. ” Harrison's original Strat was a 1962 Sonic Blue guitar that Harrison painted himself with Dayglo paint and nail polish. In an interview, Harrison discussed deciding to paint the guitar in 1967 and how in 1969-1970 he started using it to play slide. He also noted that he played the guitar when The Beatles performed “All You Need Is Love” live. That performance was the world’s first live satellite broadcast.
