An unused ticket to a closed circuit broadcast of Evel Knievel's 1974 Snake River Canyon jump. The tan ticket with black lettering is individually numbered "01701" and stamped "Retain your stub." The closed circuit broadcast pertaining to this ticket took place at The Roosevelt Field Theatre in Garden City, New York. The Snake River Canyon jump took place on Sunday, September 8, 1974, in Idaho. A rocket-powered cycle called the X-2 Skycycle propelled Knievel across the Snake River. The parachute-equipped craft made it all the way across, but the prevailing northwest winds caused it to drift back into the canyon. Knievel survived the jump with only minor injuries. 5 1/2 by 3 inches EST. $100- 200 Categories: EVEL KNIEVEL
