A Reach Official American League Baseball signed by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. The baseball can be dated to the period of 1929-1931 by the patent number "PAT'D RE. 17200," which appears under "American League Ball" on the ball's center panel. This ball was used in a Major League Baseball game in 1929 and was caught as a foul ball. The fan who caught the ball obtained Ruth's signature on the sweet spot of the ball and Gehrig's on the north panel. Absent from the ball is the "E.S. Bernard/ President American League" signature stamp that should appear on the baseball's east panel but has faded out over time. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from JSA. Categories:
