A Michigan State Spartans Magic Johnson replica basketball jersey. The green polyester jersey features "Johnson" on the jersey nameplate in white tackle twill lettering over Johnson's uniform number "33" in white tackle twill. The jersey, framed with a white-over-green matting, is mounted inside the frame over a faux-parquet basketball floor. Cut out twice from the matting is Johnson's jersey number "33," with additional cut-outs for two Spartans logos and a sign that reads "Magic Johnson/ Michigan State Spartans." During the 1978-79 season, Michigan State qualified for the NCAA Tournament, where the team advanced to the championship game and faced Indiana State, which was led by senior Larry Bird. In what was the most-watched college basketball game ever, Michigan State defeated Indiana State 75-64, and Johnson was voted Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. 44 1/2 by 36 3/8 inches, overall ESTIMATE $50-100 Categories:
