A group of 27 Amateur Athletic Union medals. The medals were awarded to dive champion Pat McCormick for events including the 10 meter, 3 meter, and 1 meter dive. All of the medals feature a raised image of an early Grecian female figure on the front and read "Amateur Athletic Union of the United States MDCCCLXXXVIII" along with engraved lettering on the back stating the event. Of the 27 medals, 19 have dates on the back varying from 1951 to 1956. McCormick is best known for winning a total of four gold medals for diving in the 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics.
