An Arthur Miller typed and handwritten love letter to Marilyn Monroe. In the letter Miller addresses Monroe as "Dearest Wife" although their wedding was a month away and his divorce not yet final. Miller has signed the letter "Art," and below his signature he has written, "Please - if I have ever made you cry, or made you one ounce sadder even for a second - forgive me. My perfect girl."
