An original business card for John W. Hardin Esq. "Attorney at Law." John Wesley Hardin was a notorious outlaw and gunman attributed with killing at least 27 people. He reportedly studied law while in prison and upon his release passed the Texas bar exam. He was shot in the head and killed in an El Paso saloon less than two years later. The business card is affixed to a section of marbled paper matching the type used in late 19th century book binding, leading to the conclusion that it had originally been mounted in a book. This item was featured on the History Channel series Pawn Stars . PROVENANCE From the Collection of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop Framed, 8 1/8 by 7 1/4 inches Categories: John W. Hardin
