A special effects sword from Conan the Barbarian (Universal, 1982). The 32-inch sword has a heavy cast metal hilt with a leather wrapped handle and a hollow blade with a retractable, spring-loaded tip. The guards of King Osric, played by Max von Sydow, use this style of sword. This stunt sword was used in a deleted scene showing the murer of von Sydow's character.
