An Otis Redding The Dock of the Bay album owned by Jimi Hendrix from the collection of Sharon Lawrence, friend and confidante of Hendrix and author of Jimi Hendrix: The Man, The Magic, The Truth (Harper Collins: It Books, 2006). Lawrence notes that Hendrix was a great admirer of Redding's musical talent and that Hendrix carried the album with him while touring.
