A suit worn by Robert Redford as John Gage in Indecent Proposal (Paramount, 1993). The ensemble consists of a custom tailored two-piece suit by Cerruti Couture, a custom white dress shirt, a patterned Armani tie, and a faux alligator leather belt. The shirt was custom made for Redford by Anto Shirtmakers of Beverly Hills with an internal tailor's label sewn into the collar with the actor's initials "R.R." and the production date "June 1992." Internal tailor labels are sewn in the jacket’s breast pocket and the pants’ waistband with “Robert Redford,” size information, and date typed. Redford wore the outfit during the pivotal scene where Gage and Diana Murphy (played by Demi Moore) are confronted in the rain by a drunk and distraught David Murphy (played by Woody Harrelson), who has tailed them to a restaurant in a desperate attempt to win back his estranged wife; the suit is concealed beneath a coat. The suit is also worn when Gage and his bodyguard are within a hotel room. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a copy of the film. Categories: Robert Redford
