A vintage Givenchy three-piece suit worn by Alec Baldwin as Norman Burroughs in the motion picture Running with Scissors (TriStar, 2006). The 1970s vintage suit consists of a tan jacket, a vest, and a pair of matching pants. The interior jacket pocket has “PAR” and the character name “Norman” inscribed in black ink. Baldwin wore this costume when Norman runs into his ex-wife, Deirdre (Annette Bening), while dining with his new fiancée Suzanne (Dagmara Dominczyk). Deirdre becomes angry that she was not told of the engagement and causes a scene in the restaurant before flinging a glass of water in Norman’s face and storming out. Costume design by Lou Eyrich. Running with Scissors was based on the New York Times bestseller Running with Scissors : A Memoir by Augusten Burroughs. Accompanied by a shirt and tie for display purposes only, a certificate of authenticity, and a copy of the film. Categories: Alec Baldwin
