Pina Colada , 2012 Laser sculpted polyamide, and hand finished with spray paint, mounted on a steel stand 8 2/3 by 4 1/3 by 4 1/3 inches Paris based Ludo, who is often referred to as Nature’s Revenge, merges the world of animals and plants with our technological universe. His wheate pastes can be easily found on the Parisian streets extending across the sides of buildings, the elegant flowers ending in a menagerie of CCTV cameras and other spyware. Ludo's mixture of the abrasive with the natural can also be seen in Pina Colada, one of Ludo's first ventures into sculpture. The biomorphic Frankenplant sculpture was born out of a wheatpaste done on a side of Parisian building in 2012. Categories: LUDO
