White top hat with sequin band with black and white rhinestone ornament, label reads “Woody Shelp/ Ann Miller,” worn by Ann Miller for the ABC television special “Happy Birthday Hollywood,” a gala celebration, benefiting the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital, held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in honor of the centennial of the founding of the town of Hollywood. The special aired on May 18, 1987. Video footage of Miller dancing in this hat can be seen on YouTube “Happy Birthday Hollywood” Part 11.
