Gibson Guitar Sclupture, 10 foot tall, fiberglass. Alan Hughes is a Miami-based collage artist with more than 15 years in the craft. Alan is a prolific musician, singer/songwriter, and frontman of the Miami rock band Prole, with more than 15 years in the local scene. He is currently finishing the first of three self-released solo acoustic records. As an actor, Alan has appeared in a few short and full length feature movies, including the recent "La Cueva de Los Secretos". By profession, Alan is a very well recognized chef with numerous awards and international experience, and owner of the recently closed Miami landmark, One Ninety Restaurant, a hip, boho reduct of fine cuisine and excellent live music. Hute bei JLKo represents the random approach in which the artist conceived the piece. It manages to capture a mystical feeling. It is Pop meets Surrealism meets Punk in one carefully balanced piece.
