A cream and crimson dress worn by Betty Grable in Mother Wore Tights (20th Century, 1947). The crepe dress has a cream bodice with a neckline that is trimmed in lace and a crimson hobble skirt. A bias label reads "1-27-7-5588 505-06-B Grable." The dress has been slightly modified in post production. The lace at the neckline has been changed, and belt and button details have been added to the skirt. Costume design by Orry-Kelly. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
