A 14K rose gold and sterling silver cigarette case designed with alternating bands of rose gold and sterling silver. Monogrammed "NS" in top outside corner. The case was sent as a gift in 1940 from Charlie Chaplin. The recipient of this gift, Norman Sweeters, helped an elder Chaplin after he slipped and fell in a hotel lobby in Manhattan. Chaplin took the young man's name and address, and a month later this cigarette case arrived with Sweeters' initials engraved on the front and "Charlie Chaplin Best Wishes" engraved inside. 139 grams 4 1/2 by 3 1/4 inches Categories: Charlie Chaplin
