A pale blue brocade period dress worn by Ida Lupino in The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (20th Century, 1939). The bodice is fitted, the skirt is slender and has a gathered Victorian overskirt with an attached train. The dress is trimmed with a deep blue pleated velvet trim and bows. There is a bias label stamped "21004" and written "Lupino" and another number stamped in bodice twice "1027-71544." This gown has been modified post production. Accompanied by a copy of the film.
