A United States Passport issued to actor Ray Bolger, who famously portrayed the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz (MGM, 1939). Number 432624. Includes a black and white photograph of Bolger signed over the top and signed on the information page. The passport states Bolger's birthplace was Boston, Massachusetts, on January 10, 1904, and lists his occupation as "Actor." The passport includes a work permit stamp for up to six months in England, during which time Bolger worked on the filming of Where's Charley ?
