A "Morita" rifle designed by prop fabricator Bear Burge for Starship Troopers (TriStar, 1997). The prototype weapon is based on a design submitted by Burge. Once the design, based on an M60 E rifle, was approved, the studio commissioned the construction of this prototype, which adds metal, plastic, and wood attachments to alter the look of the weapon. The original sketch of the M60 E rifle, approval letter from the producer, plus additional edited photocopied design modifications, are included in the lot. Categories:
