The trophy was given to him by his alma mater, Fulton High School, the high school that Holyfield attended and graduated from in 1980. The trophy features a boxing figurine mounted t a faux marble base with a mounted red engraving plate. The trophy is engraved "CONGRATULATIONS/ EVANDER HOLYFIELD/ FULTON HIGH P T S A - 1985."
