Original Sun Recording of ‘Blue Moon of Kentucky”, 10 inch, 78 rpm. Framed, but not played. 19 year-old Elvis recorded this song in the Sun Studios in July 1954. This 78 rpm was released with the hopped-up version of “Blue Moon Of Kentucky”. Presley also sang a blues song, “That’s All Right,” on the reverse side of this album. It was Elvis' first Sun Recording and became a local hit. Based on the albums success Elvis began touring.
