Black and white photograph of Miles Davis playing the trumpet in New York City. Signed by Stephen Verona Before Davis had finished high school he was a member of the musicians union and playing professionally. By 1972, when this photograph was taken, Davis had already made legendary recordings. In his lifetime he recorded with John Coltrane, Thelonius Monk, Gil Evans, Bill Evans Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock.
