Black and white photograph of Eric Clapton from March 31, 1967, marked on verso "Eric Clapton 1967" in pencil on a strip of white tape. The photograph shows Clapton seated on a couch strumming his "Fool" Gibson SG. Taken backstage at the Murray the K "Music In the 5th Dimension." The show ran from Saturday March 25 to Sunday April 2 with five performances daily. Cream performed at this gathering (advertised on posters as "The Cream") along with The Who, Wilson Pickett, Mitch Ryder (who headlined), Phil Ochs and Simon & Garfunkel, among others. This was both Cream and The Who's American debut. The name of this guitar comes from the psychedelic art collective named "The Fool" who created its painting. approximately 14 by 11 inches Categories: Eric Clapton
