A pair of 14K gold cufflinks made to look like an album that read, "Because of You" on frontpiece, and engraved, "To Bob Hope from Tony Bennett" on back. "Because of You" was Bennett first big hit reaching number one on the pop charts in 1951. In 1949 Pearl Bailey had asked Bennett to open for her in New York. Hope had been invited to the show and asked Bennett to go on the road with him. At the time Bennett was performing under the stage name "Joe Bari" and Hope suggested he use his real name simplified to Tony Bennett. Housed in blue velvet jewelry box. Categories: Bob Hope
