A group of five telegrams, radiograms, and cablegrams written to and from Rudolf Sieber to both Jean Gabin and Maurice Chevalier, dated 1939-1946, in both English and French. Both were friends of his as well as lovers of his wife, Marlene Dietrich. One is handwritten by Sieber, another is attached to a handwritten memo from Gabin. Three are marked with date received in Sieber's hand. A Mackay Radion Radiogram sent to Sieber from Gabin on May 19, 1944, reads "Do not worry she is well again and working but not with me kisses." This probably refers to Dietrich, who was romantically involved with Gabin at the time and performing in a USO show that toured with American troops in Europe during WWII.
