A custom aluminum briefcase housing the ID device that records and verifies the change of command for Global Dynamics from Dr. Nathan Stark, played by Ed Quinn, to Dr. Allison Blake, played by Salli Richardson-Whitfield, in “Try, Try Again,” a second season episode of Eureka (NBCUniversal, 2006-2012). The black Plexiglas face is backlit by an accompanying remote control that changes the handprint and number keypad displays from red to green. The unit also has a mechanized rectangular acrylic section that rises up and acts as a retina scanner to confirm identity. Also included is a plastic security horseshoe that is placed around the keypad to keep others from seeing the ID codes.
