A sword of the Mongo guards from Flash Gordon (MGM, 1980). Carried by the guards of Ming the Merciless, played by Max von Sydow, the sword is solid resin around a reinforcement rod, coated in a goldtone chrome and detail painted with red. Flash Gordon, played by Sam J. Jones, also wields one of these swords in his final confrontation with von Sydow. Accompanied by a copy of the film. Categories:
