Originally designed to affect weather, this prop was fired by Sheriff Carter, played by Colin Ferguson, and Zane Donovan, played by Niall Matter, into an artificial sun that threatened to go supernova in “Here Come the Suns,” a third season episode of Eureka (NBCUniversal, 2006-2012).
