The two-page letter expresses Monroe's disappointment at not being able to come to Greenland to celebrate New Year's as she had planned in 1954. Monroe could not attend because of illness and was replaced for the USO performance by Anita Ekberg. Monroe ends her letter, "I think your [sic] the best men in the world. I love you all.
