A single page typed letter signed in blue ink "Paul" by Paul Newman and dated October 28, 1993, on The Actors Studio letterhead. The letter reads in part, "I should be mad that I lost out on the bidding for the Al Hirschfeld drawing at The Celebrity Auction at Christie's, but since I lost to Bill Goldman, what can I say?"
