A handwritten note from Diana, Princess of Wales addressed to “Gerry” and dated August 28, 1996. The note is written on a “D” monogrammed Kensington Palace stationery. The card reads “I do apologise for looking so blank on Friday as I saw you from my car-I was in a total daze having fought off six press men! The motorbike rider you mentioned is locked up in prison for 3 months! Lots of love Gerry to you both & I’d love to see you when life is a little less turbulent.” Signed “Diana x.” The princess was killed a little over a year later, on August 31, 1997, from a similar experience with the paparazzi. 4 by 6 1/2 inches Categories:
