A group of two pairs of drumsticks used by Michael Jackson's drummer Jonathan Moffett during two separate concerts on Jackson's HIStory Tour. Both pairs are "PRO-MARK Millennium II 722/ Jonathan Moffett 'DUO' " signature drumsticks. Made of hickory, the sticks feature a nylon tip on both ends of the stick, as opposed to traditional single-tipped sticks. All of the sticks are stamped by the manufacturer "Michael Jackson/ History Tour." The first pair is inscribed by Moffett "Friday Oct 10th 97/ Johanesberg/ South Africa." The second pair are inscribed "Sunday Oct 12th 97/ Show/ Johanesberg/ South Africa." Both pairs are inscribed in red marker.
