House Paint, Ink on Epiphone Les Paul guitar. Signed by muscians from the Warped tour, including Ryan Cabrera. Until the age of 12, John Hubbell Rosene was homeschooled by his mother as his family moved around from house to house. During the movement his mom managed to keep him involved in art as she thought it was extremely important. By the age of 10 he had taken (through friends and connections) studio classes in Pottery on the Wheel, Drawing and Painting. After starting school in 7th grade, it became John’s mission to seek out more art classes because he found them to be an excellent outlet for his frustration, which had built up after the rough transition to school. Art became a permanent outlet for John. Animation was a big interest of his, but he never pursued it, as he longed for a more “in the moment” creation of pieces. To John art is rarely about the finished product, but about the creation of it. Categories: Les Paul
