DAVID HOCKNEY British, b. 1937 BREAKFAST WITH STANLEY AND BOODGIE IN MALIBU Ink on xerographed paper 14 by 8 1/2 inches A xerographed illustration, hand embellished with ink, depicting a pair of dachshunds, presumably Stanley and Boodgie, lounging near a table with a teapot, a cup, and a copy of the "Los Angeles Times." This morning scene takes place at David Hockney’s Malibu home and prominently shows the Pacific Ocean churning in the background. Hockney executed a number of prints and original paintings capturing this favorite viewpoint overlooking the sea. Signed to the lower right with the artist's initials. Categories: David Hockney
